We Are Nature

In this series I meld the abstract with the figurative to cast a spotlight on pressing environmental issues and climate changes facing our planet. The works emerged from my profound concern for Mother Nature and act as a call for actionable change.

A Siren’s Call

Exhibited at NOX Gallery EBISU Exhibition in Shibuya, Tokyo, JP and the NOX Gallery Party in San Cristobal, Chiapas, MX, January 2024.

Part of the permanent exhibition at Museo Chiapas de Ciencia y Tecnología (MUCH) Mexico.

This collection is my plea for mindfulness, my artwork as activism. It is a visual plea for us to awaken and acknowledge our role as guardians of this world.

Pneuma

In “Pneuma” I visualized the breath of life where the human form is seamlessly integrated with the natural world, echoing the ancient breath that animates all beings. This artwork is an invocation to behold the spirit (pneuma) that courses through us and the earth alike, reminding us of our shared essence and the sacred duty to cherish and preserve the world that is both our origin and our final resting place.

Metamorphosis | We Are Nature

“Metamorphosis” captures the essence of transformation and change. Blending the human features with tree bark patterns suggests a state of flux, a transition from one form to another.

This concept reflects the biological metamorphosis found in nature, but here I am showing a human undergoing a physical and perhaps even spiritual transformation. It encapsulates the blending of organic elements, signifying a deep, intrinsic connection between the human and natural worlds, and the ongoing evolution of forms and identities.
